JAMB Slip Printing: How to Print Your Exam Slip, Result Slip, or Reprint
JAMB slip printing covers four different documents on two different portals. Your exam slip and registration slip are free. Your Original Result Slip costs about ₦1,500 once, on efacility.jamb.gov.ng, and your admission letter about ₦1,000. This page shows you which one you need right now, what it costs, and the exact link to print it on JAMB's own system.

Pick the document you are trying to print. Each one uses a different portal, and mixing them up is the most common mistake candidates make.

The exam slip shows your CBT centre, exam date, and time. Once you have sat the exam, it has no further use.

Registration Slip

- Proving you registered, and for correction requests
Also called the acknowledgement slip. It carries your registration number, your NIN, your subject combination, and your institution choices. Keep it, because you will need the registration number for everything else.

This is a separate document from your result slip. It only appears once JAMB has approved and you have accepted the admission on CAPS. Paying before that will not create one.

JAMB slip printing means downloading and printing an official document from a portal owned by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. Most guides only talk about two slips. There are actually four documents candidates print, and they do not all live on the same portal.

Two of these are free forever. If anyone asks you to pay for the exam slip or the registration slip, that person is not JAMB.

How do you print your JAMB Original Result Slip?
Log in to e-Facility, choose your exam year, pay the fee on JAMB's own screen, then download the PDF and print it on A4. It takes about five minutes when your login details are correct.

Log in to e-Facility
Go to efacility.jamb.gov.ng and sign in with the email address and password you set during registration. Not your phone number, and not your registration number alone.

Click "Print Result Slip"
Pick the correct examination year from the dropdown, then enter your registration number. For 2026 it looks like 26123456HG, which is the exam year, eight digits, then two letters.

Pay the fee JAMB shows you
Choose "Continue with Payment" and pay through Remita, card, or transfer. The figure most widely reported for the 2026 cycle is ₦1,500. Pay exactly what the screen says and nothing more.

Check the details before you print
Confirm your photograph, your four subject scores, and your name. JAMB also emails a copy to your registered address, which is what lets you reprint later without paying again.

Print in colour on A4
A faded or black and white copy can be questioned at screening. Print two copies, and do not laminate them. Some schools reject laminated slips because they cannot check the paper.

How do you print your JAMB exam slip?
The exam slip is free and opens roughly a week before the main UTME sitting. You will not be allowed into the CBT hall without it.

Open the exam slip portal
Go to slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng and choose the section for the exam you are sitting. The mock exam, the main UTME, and the mop-up exam each have their own section.

Enter one of your three identifiers
The portal accepts your registration number, your registered email, or your registered phone number. If one fails, try the next before you assume something is broken.

Check your centre and time carefully
Confirm your name, your exam date, your reporting time, and your CBT centre address. Your name must match your NIN exactly.

Save as PDF, then print two copies
Keep one on your phone and one on paper. If your home printer fails on exam morning, a saved PDF means any business centre can print it in a minute.

Is a JAMB reprint a different process?
No. "Reprint" is not a separate system for any of the four documents. It is the same portal and the same login, every time.
- Exam slip reprints are free and unlimited for as long as the printing window is open.
- Result slip reprints do not need a second payment. After your first payment, JAMB emails you a copy and the slip stays available in your profile, so you can download it again.
- You cannot reprint what was never generated. If payment went through but no slip appeared, that is a payment issue, not a reprint issue.
People search "JAMB reprint" for three reasons: they never saved the first copy, they need a spare for screening, or a detail was corrected and they want the updated version.

How much does JAMB slip printing cost in 2026?
Fees get quoted inconsistently across Nigerian sites, partly because JAMB adjusts them between cycles and old articles keep ranking. Here is what is most widely reported for the 2026 cycle.

A cybercafe charge is not a JAMB fee. If a business centre charges you a small amount for paper, ink, and computer time, that is normal and separate. Anyone charging you for "access" to a slip is not JAMB.

Why did 2026 result slip printing open on 17 June and not 18 May?
This is the single biggest source of confusion in the 2026 cycle, and most articles still have it wrong. JAMB first announced 18 May 2026 as the start date. That date was then pushed back, and a lot of Nigerian sites never updated their pages.
Printing actually opened on , announced by JAMB spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin. The delay happened because JAMB was still completing foreign-centre examinations and the mop-up exam for candidates affected by technical and biometric problems in April.

The lesson for 2027: an announced JAMB date is a plan, not a guarantee. Dates move when the mop-up or foreign centres run late. 2027 UTME dates have not been announced yet.
Check before you plan around a date. jamb.gov.ng is the only source that settles this. Any date on any guide, including this one, is a report of what JAMB said.
What goes wrong when printing a JAMB slip, and how do you fix it?
- The portal will not load or keeps timing out
- Traffic spikes hard in the first few days after any window opens. Try early morning or late night, and stop refreshing repeatedly, because that adds to the load.
- The PDF will not open on your phone
- Use Chrome or Brave. Opera Mini compresses pages and often fails to render the slip PDF properly. This one catches a lot of candidates.
- You paid but no slip appeared
- Wait a few minutes and reload your dashboard before doing anything else. Confirmations can lag. Do not pay a second time immediately, because that creates a duplicate-charge dispute that takes far longer to resolve.
- No exam date or centre is showing
- Usually a sync delay, not a registration failure. Log out, wait, and try again. If nothing appears after a full day, contact JAMB support directly.
- You cannot log in to e-Facility
- Use the official forgot-password option. Never create a second profile, because duplicate records cause problems that only an in-person JAMB visit can untangle.
- A detail on the slip is wrong
- Contact JAMB or your CBT centre through official channels straight away. Correction windows are time-limited. Never let anyone offer to "fix" it informally.

Is slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng the official JAMB portal?
Yes. It is a subdomain of JAMB's official domain, jamb.gov.ng, and it handles exam slip printing only. Result slips, registration slips, and admission letters are printed on efacility.jamb.gov.ng instead.
Why did 2026 result slip printing open on 17 June and not 18 May?
JAMB originally announced 18 May 2026, then delayed it while foreign-centre examinations and the 13 June mop-up exam were completed. Mop-up results came out on 16 June and Original Result Slip printing opened the next day, 17 June 2026. Many Nigerian sites still show the old May date.
Can I print my JAMB result slip on my phone?
You can pay and download the PDF on a phone using efacility.jamb.gov.ng in Chrome or Brave. Opera Mini often fails to render it. The file still needs printing on A4 paper, so save it, then take it to a business centre or CBT centre.
Is the SMS result the same as the Original Result Slip?
No, and this catches many candidates. The SMS is a score notification only. Schools will not accept it during post-UTME screening. The Original Result Slip carries your passport photograph, your subject breakdown, and your national ranking, and that is the document institutions require.
My JAMB exam slip shows the wrong centre, what should I do?
Contact JAMB through its official support channels immediately, or visit an accredited CBT centre in person with your registration slip and a valid ID. Correction windows are short, so do not leave it until exam week.
