Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our working standard.

What’s Built Into This Site

• Skip-to-content link so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass repeated header navigation on every page
• Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields, so keyboard navigation shows clearly where you are on the page
• Semantic heading structure (proper H1/H2/H3 order) so screen readers can navigate content logically, not just visually
• Labeled interactive elements — buttons and menu toggles include ARIA labels and state (for example, the mobile menu button announces whether it’s open or closed)
• Keyboard-operable navigation, including the mobile menu, without requiring a mouse or touchscreen
• Responsive, mobile-friendly layout that reflows for small screens and larger text settings rather than requiring horizontal scrolling
• Descriptive link text and alt text on images and icons where they convey meaning, rather than generic “click here” links

Known Limitations

We’re not aware of every issue that might exist, and some parts of the experience are outside our direct control:

• JAMB’s own portals (efacility.jamb.gov.ng, slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng) are operated by JAMB, not us — their accessibility is governed by JAMB, not this site
• Third-party tools embedded on this site (such as our contact form service) follow their own provider’s accessibility standards, which we don’t control directly
• We have not exhaustively tested every screen reader and browser combination — if you use assistive technology and hit a barrier, your report genuinely helps us find gaps we’ve missed

Reporting an Accessibility Problem

If you encounter something on this site that’s difficult or impossible to use with assistive technology, please tell us. Include the page URL and, if you can, what you were trying to do and what happened instead — that’s usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it.
