How We Research, Verify, and Correct Our Content
This page explains exactly how we source information, why fees and dates sometimes look different across our own articles, and what happens when we get something wrong.

Who We Are
JAMB Slip Printing is an independent, editorially-run guide for Nigerian UTME candidates. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Content is reviewed by Rizwan Aslam. Nothing on this site is an official JAMB communication, and every guide links directly to JAMB’s own portals for the actual transaction — we don’t process registrations, payments, or personal data ourselves.
How We Research and Verify Information
JAMB’s fees, portal names, and exam-cycle dates change often enough that a single source is rarely enough to trust on its own. Before publishing or updating a claim, we check it against:
- JAMB’s own official channels (jamb.gov.ng and its verified statements)
- Multiple independent news outlets, cross-checked against each other for agreement
- The live JAMB portals themselves, where a fee or step can be directly observed
Why our own numbers sometimes look like a range, not a single figure: when sources genuinely disagree — which happens often with JAMB’s printing fees — we publish the range we can verify rather than picking one number to look more confident than the facts support. We say so explicitly on the page rather than hiding the uncertainty.
How Our Content Is Produced
Our guides are researched and drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human editor before publication. Any figure, date, or step-by-step process is checked against the sources described above — an AI tool drafting a sentence doesn’t skip that verification step. We disclose this because we’d rather be upfront about our process than have a reader assume otherwise.
Advertising and Affiliate Relationships
This site does not currently run advertising or affiliate links, and we do not accept payment from JAMB, CBT centres, cyber cafés, or any third party in exchange for coverage or placement. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated to disclose it clearly, and any sponsored or affiliate content will be labeled as such at the point you encounter it — not buried here alone.
How We Handle Errors
We get things wrong sometimes — this niche moves fast and sources conflict. When we do:
- We correct the article directly rather than quietly leaving outdated information live
- Meaningful corrections (a wrong fee, a wrong date, a broken step) are reflected in that page’s “last reviewed” date
- We don’t delete or hide the fact that a correction was needed — accuracy matters more than appearing consistent

What This Site Will Never Do
- Collect your JAMB registration number, password, or payment details
- Claim to speed up, unlock, or influence your official JAMB result or record
- Charge a fee for information or guidance that JAMB itself provides for free or at its own stated price
- Present a fabricated or unverified date/fee as confirmed fact
Corrections and Feedback
