Why do different sites quote different JAMB fees?
Because the fee went up, and most pages never changed their numbers. Almost nobody explains this part.

What is the total cost if you cannot print at home?

Which JAMB slips are free?

- Registration slip: free. Some people call it the acknowledgement slip. It carries your registration number and your subject combination.
- Original Result Slip: ₦1,500 once. This is the only slip most candidates ever pay for.
- Admission letter: about ₦1,000. A different document, and only after your admission shows on CAPS.
If anyone asks you to pay for the exam slip or the registration slip, that person is not JAMB.
Do you pay again to reprint your result slip?
No. The charge is per exam year, not per copy.
After your first successful payment, two things happen. JAMB emails a copy of the slip to your registered address, and the slip stays inside your e-Facility profile. Log back in later and you can download it again without paying anything.

Remember that the SMS score is only a notification. Universities will not accept it at screening, which is why schools keep asking for the printed result slip.
How do you pay for your JAMB result slip safely?
- Type the address yourself. Go straight to efacility.jamb.gov.ng. Do not search for it and click the first result. Fake lookalike sites exist just to catch this payment, and some show fee amounts JAMB never charged.
- Check the address bar before you type anything. It must end in jamb.gov.ng. That is the only place a real slip comes from.
- Read the amount on screen before you approve it. Pay exactly what JAMB shows you. If it is not ₦1,500, trust the portal and not this page.
- Pay by card, Remita or transfer, then keep the receipt. If the slip does not appear at once, wait a few minutes and reload your dashboard instead of paying again. A double payment turns into a dispute that takes much longer to fix.
Warning: Nobody can raise your score for a fee. JAMB has warned again and again about people offering score upgrades or faster access to documents, often on WhatsApp. Getting involved can get your registration cancelled or your result held back.
